A workshop with community stakeholders (teachers/schools, local municipality, museums, art school
representatives, and NGOs) and the girls who will be the main beneficiaries of the LAB.

2023 წლის 25 სექტემბერს ახმეტის ინოვაციების ცენტრთან თანამშრომლობით, „ქალები საერთო მომავლისთვის “საქართველოს ოფისმა გახსნა STEAM LAB, რომელიც პროექტის მიმდინარეობისას, ერთი წლის განმავლობაში იფუნქციონირებს. ლაბის გახსნის ღონისძიებას დაესწრო 33 მონაწილე, რომელთა შორის იყვნენ მოსწავლეები, მასწავლებლები, კულტურის ახალგაზრდა მუშაკები, ადგილობრივი მუნიციპალიტეტის
წევრები, სამხატვრო სკოლისა და მუზეუმის წარმომადგენლები.
STEAM LAB-ის გახსნის ღონისძიებაზე, მონაწილეებმა მონაწილეობა მიიღეს სიმულაციურ თამაშში. ეს აქტივობა მონაწილეებს დაეხმარა გაეაზრებინათ საზოგადოების სხვადასხვა წევრების, განსაკუთრებით ახალგაზრდების, პერსპექტივები და თავიანთი თემის თანაშექმნის მნიშვნელობა. მონაწილეებმა, სიმულაციური თამაშის ფარგლებში, დახატეს საკუთარი მუნიციპალიტეტის ახალი რუკა, რამაც ისინი წაახალისა მათ ირგვლივ არსებული სივრცე საკუთარი საჭიროებიდან გამომდინარე გამოეყენებინათ, რამაც მათ თავისუფლება და კმაყოფილების გრძნობა გაუჩინა, რომლითაც „მთების გადადადგმაა“ შეეძლებათ.

On September 25, 2023, in cooperation with the Akhmeta Innovation Center, the Georgia office of “Women for a Common Future” opened a STEAM LAB, which will function for one year during the SENSE project. 33 participants, including students, teachers, youth workers, members of the local municipality, and representatives of art schools and museums, attended the opening event of the lab.
At the event, participants took part in a simulation game. This activity helped them to see the perspectives of different community members, especially youth, and recognize the importance of co-creation and co-building of their community. The participants were given a blank piece of the map, with just a contour of the borders, and were given an opportunity to design a new map of the community. The activity encouraged them to use the space around them to the best of their own needs and
design a new municipality map which gave them that sense of freedom and satisfaction that they can “move mountains”.
