STEAM-making practices for Inclusion & Sustainability
The UEDIN Lab has 3 strands involving respectively: 25 + teachers and policymakers; 1 group of 8 girls and their teacher in a secondary school in Scotland; 120+ student teachers and 20+ teacher educators in Initial Teacher Education. With a focus on place-making, participants across the Labs will evaluate the potential of sense.steam practices to generate curricula which are responsive to the needs and diversity of local communities. A final event on 10th June 2024 is planned to bring all three Labs together. 2 Italian artists (Caretto &Spagna) will also participate in the event under the auspices of the prestigious Italian Council prize.
