Self-learning STEAM in physical and digital environments 

The Lab in Estonia is focusing on independent self-learning activities of STEAM for youth. In collaboration between three partners – Velvet strategic design agency, Vivistop youth creativity accelerator and NoVa youth engagement platform – we are offering different organized opportunities for youth to engage in self-learning either in group or individual settings, in physical or digital environments.  

The aim is to evaluate how SENSE.STEAM practices help to achieve project goals in situations where there is no adult/teacher involved in guiding them and youth need to engage in the learning activities by themselves. By offering similar learning activities in physical as well as digital environments, we are also assessing how universal are SENSE.STEAM activities regardless of the learning environment and how they could be improved to be digitally accessible, usable and valuable for youth.
