Social creativity allows people to maintain or achieve a positive social identity through re-interpreting intergroup relations. It can combine different approaches and can follow different guidelines, while centering the identities and lived-experiences of individuals to maintain positive distinctiveness in knowledge processes. These efforts can be most effectively pursued when we consider three interconnected approaches: citizen science, gender/intersectionality, and participatory art.
