Collective creativity, as it is applied across the entire design process, as indicated by the title of this journal. Consequently, co-design can be conceptualised as a distinct manifestation of co-creation. The term ‘co-design’ is employed in a more extensive sense to denote the collaborative endeavours of designers and individuals not trained in design, who engage in the design development process.
